Good times!

My wife and I attended a small weekend retreat where we talked mostly about sex in the context of marriage.  We make 6 months today and we were with couples as short as 1 month and as long as 11+ years in marriage.  It was cool to see that there is always so much more you can learn no matter how long you’ve been married. 

There is so much to learn that can enhance one’s marital sex life.  Things to know about yourself as well as your spouse.  It’s amazing to see how things can, will or do work when it comes to the human body and sex.  It is so cool to see how God has put us together and orchestrated how we connect with the opposite sex. 

I feel that the most important thing we learned from this retreat had little to do with our bodies, but more to do with our ability to communicate with each other.  We learned that the more open communication there is the better it will be…in every aspect.  Since our bodies are always changing things will never stay “routine.”  That’s exciting to me.
